Advancing Textile Clean Technology and Sustainable Development: TCTS2024 Successfully Concludes

From December 23rd to 24th, the Textile Clean Technology and Sustainable Development (TCTS2024) academic conference was successfully held in the multi-purpose hall of the Textile Building at Qingdao University. Co-sponsored by Qingdao University and the Textile Bioengineering and Information Society (TBIS), the event was hosted by the School of Textiles and Clothing and the Provincial and Ministry Collaborative Innovation Centre for Eco-Textiles at Qingdao University.

 

 

 

 

The conference brought together over 180 experts and scholars from more than ten countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Japan, France, and others. Discussions centred on core topics such as clean production technology, development strategies, green material applications, and low-carbon circular economies, fostering collaboration and innovation to promote the sustainable transformation of the fashion and textile industry.

These and other leading experts delivered insightful presentations, sharing the latest advancements in clean technology and sustainable practices for the textile industry.

 

The conference encompassed a range of disciplines, including textile engineering, materials science, environmental science, and chemical engineering. In-depth discussions addressed cleaner production technologies, sustainable development strategies, green material applications, and circular economy models. By presenting cutting-edge research and industry developments, participants provided actionable insights and solutions to accelerate the green transformation of the textile industry.
